This is Margit Westerstrand (Broman)born 1916 and Bengt Broman born 1920, the two living children of Nils Anton Bromans son Egon and his wife Klara. They should be second cousins to Mick, Norma and Glennys.

The picture is from Bengt 80^th birthday in the house in Sörbyn.

Margit lives in the neighbour village, Niemisel, by the Råne river, 13 km downstreams from Sörbyn. She was married with Walter Westerstrand who had a small taxi company. Walter died in the middle of the nineteen-fifties and Margit has performed exellent in bringing up her children Björn (b. 1940), Margaretha( b.1943) and Elisabeth (b. 1952). Björn has a PhD from The University of Uppsala in technical physics and is specialized in the field of solar and wind energy. He lives in Uppsala. His sister Margaretha is a psychotherapist also living in Uppsala. Elisabeth is doing well leading the biggest taxi company in Boden.

When I visited Margit last thursday she was doing fine except for the pain in her joints. She will be 88 this year!

Bengt had a stroke in 1999 and has improved rather well. From not being able to walk and difficulties to talk he now walks and talks well. He is father of Fred (b.1946) in Luleå and Sörbyn and Marie (b. 1950) in Uppsala.
